Rich Peterson is the "voice" of "No More Joy." In addition to doing occasional
voice-over work and former production for two radio stations in outlying
Chicago, Rich first became interested in the motion picture industry at age four
and has spent nearly forty years in motion picture distribution, motion picture
advertising, and operating movie theatres in the Chicago area, Oklahoma, and
Texas. With an uncanny ability for making money with theatres other operators
have given up on, Rich has been the President of three theatre companies and
the Executive Vice President of a fourth. Nicknamed "Captain Black Heart" by
his Chicago cronies, Rich is a native of Denver, Colorado; was a city manager
for Henry Plitt in the Chicago are, and has resided in the Dallas, Texas area
since 1974. Ever vigilant for his next opportunity, Rich most recently has been
the representative for two independently built movie theatres which, as usual
for Rich, are both remarkably successful venues. Rich's long time companion
is his marvelous wife, Janiece Peterson, who was also active in the production
of "No More Joy." They have been together for 30 years.
Rich, next time you CAN be the creature...
